In the Winter we offer Basketball for students in 1st-8th grade. Our 1st-6th grade teams participate in the Father Schaus Basketball League, playing their games on Saturday mornings and afternoons. The Father Schaus League runs from December through March. 

Our Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball teams participate in the Diocesan League. In this league, our athletes travel throughout Western New York, participating in games mostly on weekdays, and also participating in tournaments throughout the winter. This Diocesan League runs from December through February, with the Diocesan Championship Tournament taking place in March.

2024-2025 Season

• Boys and Girls teams made it to the WNYCESAA Sweet 16 Tournament
• Girls - Advanced to the Final 4 of the WNYCESAA Tournament. 3rd Place at the Mount Mercy Magic Tournament, Runners up at the Nativity of Our Lord Tournament - Chloe McGavis named to All TournamentTeam
• Boys - Sweet 16 of the WNYCESSA Tournament - Park Tournament Champions and St Peter & Paul Hamburg Tournament Champions - Nathan Wodaje named MVP of the Tournament 

2022-2023 Boys Varsity Team

• Notre Dame Saints Boys Varsity Basketball team on their 3rd place finish in the St. Francis High School Tournament. NDA defeated Southtowns Catholic 31-22. Congratulations to Jack Shea on being named to the All Tournament Team.
• Finished the regular season in 2nd place in our Division
• Were selected to the Elite 8 of the Large School Diocesan Tournament 
• Finished in 1st place in the St. Peter & Paul Tournament
• Won our ShowCase game against St. Christophers at the Canisius High School Tournament
