Parent Portal

What is a Parent Portal?

  • For grades 6-8 It is a view of your child’s grades/progress. You can view assignments and assessments as teachers enter them into their gradebooks. You will also see any assignments your child is missing. (Missing assignments show up as a red exclamation point). Please allow appropriate time for grades to be entered in the portal. Your child’s progress reports and report card will also be visible at each trimester.
  • For grades 3-5 You can view your child’s grades for core area subjects, attendance, progress reports, and report cards.
  • For grades K-2 You can view your child’s attendance, progress reports and report cards. You will not see individual grades and assignments.

The Parent Portal is a powerful tool to improve communication between parents and their children. If you have a question about a grade, please adhere to the following steps:

  • Step #1 – Discuss the assignment with your child.
  • Step #2 – If there is still a question, empower your child to speak to the teacher. Please allow this to happen prior to parental contact.

All parents new to parent portal will receive an email notification from  -  Subject: Your parent portal account

  • Your email will read: Your district has sent you a parent portal account. Your credentials to the account are:
  • Username: XXXX@XXXX   Temporary Password: XXXXXX
  • Please follow the link below to access your account information

What if I forgot my login from last year?

  • Your user name (email address) and password from last year remains unchanged and will allow you to log in. If you forgot your password click on forgot password and the system will prompt you through a reset.

How do I log in?

  • There is another Parent Portal site that comes up if you Google it, and it has “wnyric” in the link. That page will NOT work for us. Please make sure you are using the correct link.

User Name:

  • Your user name is your email address not your child’s.

  • Your temporary password was included in the email you received from parentportal@eschooldata.coml. That will only work for your first log in and will prompt you to reset.
  • If at any point you forget the password you can select forgot password and reset with a new one.

Problems with Login:

  • Are you using the correct Parent Portal site?
  • Try another email address that is associated with a parent/guardian in your household.
  • The password is case sensitive, so make sure you are not using capitals.
