We, the South Buffalo Catholic Grammar Schools Alumni, wanted to reach out to any parents, teachers or staff at NDA who would be interested in joining our committee.
Who?
- We are a group of alumni, parents and grandparents who have a strong, proud tradition of excellence in Catholic education.
Why?
- We believe in the value of Catholic Education.
- Notre Dame Academy receives no funding from parishes or the diocese (NDA used to received approximately $500,000 annually from the diocese)
- All of our proceeds go directly to NDA.
How?
- The South Buffalo Catholic Grammar Schools Alumni formally organized and created an invaluable partnership with the Catholic Children’s Learning Corporation, a 501c3 non-profit organization, to engage the business community, our fellow alumni, and parishioners from across our area in a sustainable fundraising campaign to ensure the future of Catholic education in South Buffalo.
- Last year, we hosted two successful events, a Summer Happy Hour and a Homecoming Gala in support of NDA.
What’s Next?
- Our Happy our Reunion and Homecoming Gala are returning this year. We are reaching out to anyone in our NDA community who wishes to join us to be a committee member or to be involved with a particular event.
