Catholic School Week

Throughout the week, at both campuses:

• Students will bring in boxes of cereal to donate to a local food pantry. On Friday, before the boxes are taken to the pantry, they will be set up in the hallway to create a domino train.
• Students in grades 3 - 8 will write and essay on the  importance of Catholic Education.
• All students will use their thumbprint to create one beautiful mosaic of Mother Mary. Our finished product will be a result of every student contributing.
• Friday, Feb. 3rd Grades 4-7 Shadow Day - bring a friend to school.

Abbott Campus:

• Monday, January 30th - Rock Painting - Students will be painting rocks and adorning them with special messages of kindness.
• Wednesday, February 1st - BINGO Time! Students will win a free ice cream coupon. Created in Christ… Designed for God’s Purpose! Art Project
  • Come to school dressed in Camouflage or Safari
• Thursday, February 2nd - School Mass @ 9 at St. Martins along with a Parent Reception. Students will play a Kahoot Game with Religion and NDA Questions!
  • Come to school dressed in your uniform for our parent Mass.
• Friday, February 3rd - Olympic Games with Mrs. Moore. Come to school dressed in Class Color Day
  Pre K - Green , K - Orange, 1 - White, 2 - Yellow, 3 - Red, 4 - Blue, 5 - Black
  • OPEN HOUSE AT THE ABBOTT CAMPUS 5 - 7 PM

Okell Campus:

• Monday, January 30th - If you purchased an 8th grade Dress Down Pass it can be used this day.Rock Painting - Students will be painting rocks and adorning them with special messages of kindness.
• Tuesday, January 31st - The Grade 6-8 Spelling Bee takes place at Noon. Abbott teachers are encouraged to log in and watch with their class.
  Each student will receive a heart to share why they love NDA. "Dress for Success" - Come to school dressed in your best outfit!
• Wednesday, Feb. 1st @ 8:30 Okell Student Mass with a brief reception to follow for parents in the Parish Hall. Students will play a Jeopardy Game with Religion
  and NDA Questions!

• Thursday, February 2nd - Scavenger Hunt/Photo Collage (A-Z Religious items located in school)
  • Dress in Camouflage or Safari
• Friday, February 3rd - Escape Room - Parables of Jesus, Structured Gym Activities, Dance Party, Minute to Win it Games, Okell School Trivia
  Class Color Day: 6th - Green, 7th - Red, 8th - Blue
  • Shadow Day bring a friend to school
